want to send a yellow rose in my i .m. ‘s?

i have the red rose but want to change the color to yellow as mylady love likes yellow roses
this question is not about a real rose . it is about a rose i put on my i.m.’ s on my computer has nothing to do with really flower

There are two ways you can do this.

You can use a yellow rose as your avatar while you talk to her

or you can send her a picture of one in an instant message.

First you must find a picture that you like.
this page has a lot:

and there are many other links to pages that you can click on at the bottom of that page

on that page you can click on one of the pictures. When you do that then a new screen will open and at the top of that screen will be the same rose that you just clicked on. and usually there is a word pretty close to it that says “Save”

so click on the word “Save”

Now your computer will save that picture. probably your computer will ask you to name the picture as it saves it. you can use the name it came with or you can erase it and name it something like “for my Sweetheart”. And maybe your computer will ask you where to save it, so save it in “My Pictures” or “My Photos” it would be words like that.

you can save lots of pictures of roses if you want. To do that, you just need to find a new picture and save it all over again.

now that you have pictures, you can use them as your avatar or send them in I.M.s

To send it in an I.M. you need to have an I.M. window open, so if you are talking to her already, then you will be talking to her in that window. but if you haven’t started to talk to her yet then you will have to click on her name and then the I.M. window will open.

In the I.M. window there might be two ways to send the picture. Do you see the “Send file” button? if you do, then click on it. When you click on it, a window will open. It will probably be the window where you saved the picture of the rose. You might see the picture there already. If you do see the picture, then click on it. and then click on the button that says “Open”.
When you do that then the picture of the rose or the name of the rose file should go into the little box where you type your messages to her so then all you have to do is hit the “send” button.

ok. I said that there might be two ways to send that picture to her. I said when you had the I.M. window open and all ready to talk to her, then look for the button that says “Send file” so if you do not see that button then click on the button that says “Actions”. After you do that, then you should be able to see the words “send file” and you can click on those words. When you do that, a window will open. It will probably be the window where you saved the picture of the rose. You might see the picture there already. If you do see the picture, then click on it. and then click on the button that says “Open”. When you click on the word “open” then the picture of the rose or the name of the rose file should go into the little box where you type your messages to her. Then all you have to do is hit the “send” button.

ok, I told you that you might see the picture of the rose there after you click on the “Send file” button, but you might not see the picture. You might have to tell the computer where to find the picture before you can send it. tell the computer to go to the place where you saved it. You probably saved in a place called “My pictures” or “My photos”. So, when the computer finds it then you can click on it and the picture will go into the conversation window (or maybe instead of the picture going there it will be the file name going there). When the picture or the file name goes into your little conversation window, then you can hit the send button.

now you are done and you can send her as many pictures of roses as you like by doing it over again

BUT if you want to use a picture like that as an avatar too, then do this:

On the I.M box where your contacts are listed there are four words close to the top–
“Messenger”
“Contacts”
“Actions”
“Help”

click on “Messenger”

a menu will drop down so look at it and find the words that say “My Display Image”.

now choose “Share my picture” and then click on the button that says “Select”

and on the new screen that it gives you, click on the word “Browse”

now your computer will show you the place where you can find the picture of your rose. You might have to look for it in “My Pictures” or the rose might already be right there.

click on the picture of the rose.

in that same screen with the rose click on the word “open”

now that should make the computer send the rose picture to the I.M. program

so now you can click “ok” next to the new picture of the rose and that little screen will disappear

and the other little screen will still be there and it will have another “ok” button so click on it

now you are done and you can change that avatar anytime you want by doing it over again
