Is it normal for white gold yellow after only 3 weeks?

I have an engagement ring in white gold and I did had for 3 weeks and already has a yellow tint to it. I know its supposed to be re-dipped afterwards, and not 3 weeks, little faster?

I had my engagement ring in white gold for three years (a well known and highly recommended jeweler in my area im POSITIVE is 100% true) and not once during the three years I've never done whole developed what I would call a yellow color and I've never heard of have a ring redipped. Even cleaned often, and I've never seen anything do what color, but what is supposed to be so my guess is the ring is not as good as you were led to believe. someone please tell me that white gold redipping anything? Never heard of him, and I'm sure I knew that the security of inner and outer ring.
