which period of “German” history or of the “Holy Roman Empire” was the famous one for them?

and would you say “The Victorian Era” was the “High light” of British history ?

why for this?

please explain for each if you can.

If high light is about military power, cultural influence and architecture (as usual), Britain was certainly at its peak in the Victorian age. If you look for something similar in German history, you must go back to the times of the Teutonic Knights and the Hanseatic League.
But maybe the colonisation of America and Australia was the actual high light in British history. The spreading of a small island’s language around the globe was done before Victoria’s rule began.
Germany slept during those decades and centuries. Well, the reformation spread from there. It was not connected to a certain language (you would all speak German now!).
I see another high light in the aftermath of this: a steady confessional peace, which became a basic necessity in Germany, after thirty years of undecided war.
There are some non-imperialistic high lights also in British history: The Bill of Rights and the Magna Carta.
