Please help me identify my antique chairs?

I have a pair of chairs, one rocker, one straight chair. They are wood with velvet coverings (originally diamond backing). They have carved faces below the arms and clawfeet. I believe they were made in the late 1800′s. I would like to know more about them as well as the value of the chairs. They are in excellent condition. Perhaps someone who is familiar with antiques could help me.
