Have you faced the death of a loved one with a divided family making a circus out of the funeral?

My mom recently passed away at the age of 95. She had a great, long life and would be furious if she knew what was going on. To now, I have been sitting back and keeping my mouth shut, but my blood pressure is reaching a boiling point. Why do siblings and grand children have to argue at a time when we should be consoling each other and reflecting on the wonderful memories?

Yes i have actually had this happen, a fight actually broke out side the funeral home, it was horrify to say the least that people can’t control themselves long enough to be respectful.

It was not a situation i wanted to get in the middle of, nor did I. I moved away from the nuts (the nicest word i could think of to be polite) as fast as I could.

Sorry to hear about your situation, I hope that it can be resolved with out you have to blow your top. And my condolences on the passing of your mom.
