Toilet lid up or down when house is on display?
I went on a holiday tour of homes last night and must have seen 16 bathrooms, all beautifully furnished & decorated, every single one of them with the lid of the toilet propped wide open. I don’t know why, but I always thought that if you were showcasing a bathroom, the toilet lid should be down – no one needs to see the inside of your toilet unless they are aiming for it! Is there or is there not some kind of rule about this?
No rule just common sense. Unless one lives in a public restroom, the lid should always be down regardless of whether a home is on display or not. Who wants to see a gaping hole? IT’s just more attractive.
