Thinking about paiting my kitchen a deep red…..?

I like the deep red color and I would like to paint my kitchen that color but it makes me nervous. I have never painted such a bold color before. Was wondering if anyone else has painted such a deep color and what the results were.

My kitchen is about 20×20 with dark wood cabinets. There is a main wall in the kitchen that runs the whole length of the room with nothing on it. The other walls either have appliances, cabinets, frig or buffet.
I really like that Tuscan feel but am afraid that red might be to bold. But not sure what color to go with.

Personally i think a deep red or any dark color with dark cabinets would just make the whole room “dark” and make the room feel small!!!

I prefer both my kitchen and bathroom painted with light
or bright colors they help open up the rooms and make
them feel airy, in addition to lightening up the room-you want to see what you’re cooking.

My kitchen has a Tuscan theme with a rich gold color and i love it and could work for you as well.
Also the gold would look nice with your dark cabinets and you could add some deep red accessories, that would be awesome.
