Is generic wheat bread nothing more than brown white bread?
I’ve been buying Hannaford brand wheat bread (and feeling pretty damn good about it) for years. It’s so different from the expensive wheat bread my boyfriend bought the other day. I have this weird feeling I’m simply eating “brown” white bread LOL
Roman Meal is one example of “brown” bread that is only brown b/c of caramel coloring. No whole grain wheat in it at all.
